Update on the future of the UK National Rural Network

Following recent announcements we have received some enquires about the implications for the future of the UK National Rural Network.

The UK National Rural Network will continue to operate through to 2013, as required under the European Rural Development Regulation.  The Commission for Rural Communities remains in existence pending legislation and will continue to host the Networks until arrangements to transfer this function have been agreed and implemented.?

We will keep everyone updated as we know more.  In the meantime it is ‘business as usual’ and we remain committed to developing and delivering networking activities with you, so please keep feeding in your ideas and opportunities.
