Norway conference to explore innovation in mountain regions

Delegates from across Europe will travel to Norway this September for the seventh European Mountain Convetion.

The event is being organised by Euromontana, the European association for mountain areas, together with the Norwegian Mountain Regions Cooperation.

The conference, which takes place in Lillehammer from 15th to 17th September, has the theme 'European Mountain Regions - a spirit of innovation.'

Workshops will cover a range of topics including renewable energies, forestry and wood-based products, rural protected areas and sustainable tourism.
