About the Scotland NRN

The Scotland National Rural Network aims to build upon existing Scottish networks to maximise rural development opportunities, further good practice and promote co-operation between schemes and programmes operating under the Scotland Rural Development Programme (SRDP).

Key areas of work planned over the course of the SRDP period include:-

  • Support for stakeholder considersion of key topics within the SRDP
  • Set up of a website, databse and partner search tool to support communications and co-operation within the rural network
  • Provision of training, mentoring, support and information for Local Action Groups and the wider SRDP stakeholder network
  • Support for inter-territorial and trans-national working.
